Through Disk Management

Follow the steps given below in order to hide a drive in your Windows.

  • Press the Windows logo key on the keyboard and search for Computer Management.
  • You’ll see a new window appear. On the left-hand sidebar, you’ll see Storage option. Click on the Disk Management option shown below it.
  • Once you do that, you’ll see all your computer drives. Choose your drive that you want to hide.
  • Right-click on the chosen drive and then click on Change drive letter and Path option present in the drop-down menu.
  • You’ll see a pop-up window appear on the screen. Click on the Remove option at the bottom of the window.
  • It’ll show you a warning, read it very carefully if everything is good then click on OK.
  • Now close the Computer Management window. Go to your File explore and you’ll see that your selected file is no longer present there.
  • Now, if you want to access the hidden drive then merely search for the drive name followed by:\. For instance, E:\
  • If you ever wish to bring that hidden drive to front then just follow the steps again but click on Add instead of Remove. This will make that hidden drive reappear.
